Friday Night Lights at Mile High!

Friday Night Lights at Mile High!

Mel Tucker coaches his first game for the Colorado Buffaloes. It's against an in-state rival. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN. It will be played in a very big stadium. What more fitting way to usher in the era of RELENTLESS?

Although the game marks the beginning of the Tucker era, it also marks the end of another era. After this year, the game will no longer be played in Denver. Thanks to the football gods. College football in the regular season belongs on college campuses.

Excitement is a mile high at CU Boulder for the beginning of a new season.

A healthy Laviska Shenault is one of the most exciting players in the entire country.

QB Steven Montez is poised to break many of the all time Colorado records.

Which players will be the breakout stars of the new season? Linebacker Nate Landman, WR Shenault, defensive lineman Mustafa Johnson, and Tackle Will Sherman all became prominent players in the Pac-12 last year. Who will burst onto the scene this year?

The players are excited to finally be able to hit someone new. They want to take all that hard work they put into the off-season and take their games to the next level.

But the only thing any of the players care about is making sure that Colorado has a winning record, goes to a bowl game, and competes for the Pac-12 Championship.

The sound of Mel Tucker loudly urging his players to "COMPETE" still echoes inside their heads. Invest some time to watch this video to get you pumped up.
